Welcome to Bayer Farms Lavender Fields

Ooh La Lavender

Bayer Farms Lavender Fields is a family-owned, 55-acre farm in Crittenden, Kentucky, just 25 minutes from Cincinnati. We cultivate thousands of lavender plants in multiple varieties, including culinary lavender. Plant numbers and varieties change each year.

Full Bloom: Late May to mid-July
Second Bloom: Mid-September to mid-October

Admission is free. U-Pick bouquets are $13 per person or $7 per child. Enjoy farm experiences, hands-on crafts, peaceful picnics and dancing among the rows.

Hours vary with bloom conditions, special events and farm activities. Please check our website for current open dates and hours before planning your visit.

We also offer private event rentals, including our 22×58 covered pavilion. Experience the beauty and fragrance of our lavender fields, and shop online anytime for pickup or shipping.

Bayer Farms is a year-round working farm located in North Central Kentucky. Bayer Farms produces quality hay and forage for the equine industry, lavender products and provides agritourism experiences. Bayer Farms was started in 2020 by Gregg and Melissa Bayer along with their children Becca and Matt, and grandchildren Mavis, Arlo and Evelyn.

Bayer Farms exists to celebrate and sustain the heritage of the Kentucky family farm by producing quality agricultural goods and offering immersive, seasonal experiences. We are dedicated to excellent customer service, innovative farming practices, and partnerships that strengthen our community. Through our lavender blooms, bee and craft activities, picnics, dancing, and our new 22×58 covered pavilion, we create opportunities for visitors to connect with nature, agriculture, and one another.
